We are looking for a Program Manager who can provide operational leadership and partnership management to ensure the successful delivery of Compass’s asset-building initiatives, including the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program. Act as the primary liaison between Compass and its partner organizations, the Program Manager will foster strong, collaborative relationships, streamline processes, and oversee program compliance to achieve shared goals.

About the role
The Program Manager plays a key role in project managing program expansions, leading cross-departmental collaboration, and resolving client challenges efficiently. This position requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to advancing financial mobility and equity, aligning closely with Compass's mission and values. This role reports to the Director of Programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Partnership Management:
- Serve as the primary operational liaison between Compass and partner organizations, fostering strong, collaborative relationships to achieve shared goals.
- Design, implement, and continually refine efficient processes to facilitate seamless information exchange and partnership alignment.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality dashboards, reports, and other key deliverables for partner organizations, providing insights that support decision-making and program success.
Program Oversight and Compliance:
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of asset building initiatives including Compass’s core FSS program model and oversee compliance with all program policies and procedures, ensuring program integrity and consistency.
- Ensure program manuals and resources are consistently updated to reflect current policies and best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert, fielding programmatic questions from outreach and coaching teams and leading cross-functional training to ensure alignment and understanding of program policies and procedures.
- Record client information and progress data precisely, accurately, and on time, with a rigorous dedication to confidentiality and data security protocols.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Review and assess client feedback, recommending improvements to program policies and procedures to partners. Develop and execute best practices for program implementation.
- Utilize feedback and analyze data to identify trends and propose and implement improvements, ensuring Compass remains a leader in asset-building programs and FSS program delivery.
Collaboration and Problem-Solving:
- Support client success from enrollment through graduation via data tracking, regular communication and collaboration with outreach and coaching teams, serving as a bridge to address and resolve client program challenges effectively and efficiently.
- Leverage cross-departmental collaboration to develop creative solutions and streamline operations for optimal client outcomes and to establish best practices.
- Project manage efforts for program expansion, improvements and new initiatives.
Qualifications and Competencies:

3-5+ years of relevant experience. Previous program, partnership, and/or project management strongly preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to explain complex information in plain language.

The salary range for this role is $66,980 to $77,740 commensurate with experience. We’ll promote your professional growth and development by providing access to a competitive salary and benefits package and additional employee benefits that include but are not limited to:
